Where the commitment to excellence drives success

Seven years ago, Antonio Pardini was a junior in high school when he started washing cars at Elk Grove Custom Collision Detail in Elk Grove, Calif. Today, he leads a dedicated team as the Collision Center Manager, overseeing a thriving business that has grown under his leadership.

The Collision Center is a proud part of The ForAnyAuto Group, founded by principal owner John Driebe in 2001. The group also includes Nissan and Mazda Elk Grove plus INFINITI and Mazda Roseville, employing over 200 people who share a commitment to excellence and exceptional service.

Pardini’s journey, and the success of the collision business, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence and The ForAnyAuto Group’s emphasis towards integrity and exceptional service.

After he finished high school, Pardini had the choice to head off to college or continue his journey with the organization. Recognizing his potential, the leadership team presented him with a career-defining opportunity – a growth track from estimator to assistant manager that would immerse him in every aspect of the collision repair process. Seeing the chance to build a solid future, Pardini decided to stay and grow with the company.

"It was an incredible opportunity," Pardini recalls. "What truly drew me in was our strong, family-oriented culture. This is a fantastic company to work for because everyone here is valued as an individual."

Instead of heading to college, Pardini joined the team full-time as an estimator, quickly honing his skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. Their mentorship was instrumental in developing his expertise.

I was lucky enough to work with some exceptional technicians that held estimators to a high standard. Their constructive feedback helped me grow into a stronger estimator and negotiator.”

Three years later, Pardini was promoted to Assistant Manager, and just a year later, he had the opportunity to step into the role of Collision Center Manager. Now, with seven years of experience across all facets of the business, Pardini continues to push for excellence. “I'm always learning, and always moving forward. Overall, the business is doing better than ever, but I hold myself to a high standard, so there's always room for improvement.

Pardini’s high standards extend to his team, as he encourages estimators to collaborate directly with technicians to ensure precise repairs.

When it comes to complex jobs like replacing a quarter panel, I want to ensure that everyone truly understands the process. That’s where ALLDATA plays a crucial role.

The Collision Center has relied on ALLDATA Collision for OEM repair information and the ALLDATA scan tool system since 2019. The technology is integral to their process, particularly during the blueprinting phase, where precise factory specifications are critical.

“ALLDATA really shines during our blueprinting phase,” said Pardini. “It provides us with the OEM repair information we need, allowing us to make informed decisions alongside our technicians. That’s how we ensure every vehicle is repaired correctly.”

He emphasizes that using ALLDATA to research factory recommendations can be the deciding factor between repairing or replacing structural components – protecting both the vehicle and the business from liability. "ALLDATA is our number one source for OEM information. The investment is absolutely worth it, especially given the completeness of the data compared to other platforms," Pardini added.

Pardini cited a specific example where ALLDATA’s information made a significant impact: "We had a GMC truck with a rear-end collision, and ALLDATA guided us to repair the hydroformed steel frame instead of replacing it. In contrast, a similar situation with a Nissan Frontier required a complete replacement. That level of detail protects us from potential audits."

The facility also benefits from the ALLDATA ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) Quick Reference tool, which streamlines the blueprinting process and enables in-house calibrations.

Calibration-wise, ALLDATA has been a game-changer. We used to outsource this work, but now we handle 90% of it ourselves.

Quality control is another area where Pardini is hands-on, ensuring every detail is checked before the vehicle leaves the facility. From reviewing the QC checklist to physically inspecting the vehicle, Pardini’s approach is thorough and meticulous.

Looking ahead, Pardini remains focused on driving the Collision Center to new heights, but his vision goes beyond just hitting numbers. His commitment to excellence, the team’s unwavering dedication, and the strong, supportive culture fostered by The ForAnyAuto Group are the true engines behind their success.

With the invaluable partnership of ALLDATA providing the tools and information they need, Pardini and his team are set to keep pushing boundaries, ensuring that every vehicle leaving their facility is a testament to the high standards and values that define their work. For Pardini, it's about continuous growth, both for the business and the people and partners who make it thrive.
