About Don:
Hello, my name is Don Moore and I have over 45 years in the Automotive Industry. This all began with the first car I purchased. I paid $50.00 for a 1961 Chevy Impala with no engine, transmission, or front seats! I miss that car – it was my first vehicle and incredibly fun to drive and race. That led me to build a few Vegas and even put a 327 into a Datsun 240Z. Some of the finest times I remember were at Fremont Raceway/Drag Strip where I worked and raced.
For much of my career, I worked as an Automatic Transmission Rebuilder. However, I have done all aspects of bumper-to-bumper auto repair, including body and paint. Today, I leave that for others to excel in. As an instructor/trainer, I have worked in the community college and Vo-Tech realm. I was also a Performance Consultant/Field Trainer for a major automotive retailer where I conducted training classes in Northern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Utah. I’m now here at ALLDATA, bringing with me my passion to help others succeed in the automotive industry.
In my spare time, I like to watch almost any type of racing, listen to live music, and have fun with my girlfriend and my two Cane Corsos. (Both of whom think they are lap dogs!)
